Become a member of the student union!

The GSb is the union for all students in Groningen. Together, we fight for good education, affordable student housing, and accessible public transportation. How? The GSb informs, co-negotiates, and takes action. The more members we have, the stronger we are. That's why we're very happy that you want to become a member!

In addition to representing your interests, the GSb is also here to make your student life as easy as possible. What can you expect from the GSb and what benefits do you enjoy as a GSb member?

• We are always here for you! Come by for a cup of hot cocoa or call us with any questions you may have about student life in Groningen.
• Our Legal Helpdesk provides free assistance with legal issues, for example with DUO or with your university. The Helpdesk is also available to non-members, but membership is appreciated because the Helpdesk is made possible by members of the GSb.
• Our website is the go-to source for information about developments in the student world.
• We represent your interests and opinions in the co-governance councils.
• GSb Academy is the GSb's training agency and provides training courses to support active students in their committee or board work.

Membership costs only €10 per year! Your membership will be automatically renewed each year. You will receive a reminder by email a few weeks in advance. If you wish to cancel your membership, please send an email to secretaris@groningerstudentenbond.nl.
