During an academic year, a small group of students conducts research into issues that concern students. Last year, this involved a mixed-method study into student well-being, in which the results were compared with a similar study conducted by the research agency in 2017. Another well-known study is our 2015 study on student housing. This study revealed that international students in Groningen pay an average of 75% more rent. This study also received national media attention at the time.
One study is conducted each year, and you are expected to remain with the research agency for at least one year. There is approximately one meeting per week, and research is conducted outside of the meetings.
