In honor of our 55th anniversary The Lustrum Committee is organizing a unique evening that brings the history of the city and the student movement to life. We combine culture with a fun atmosphere: during the walk, we’ll visit two or three historic cafés that have played a crucial role in the history of the GSb. We’ll wrap up the tour together with a final drink at the iconic Café Wolthoorn & Co.

The Lustrum Committee is organizing a city walk/pub crawl on Thursday, April 16, to raise funds for the GSb’s 55th anniversary, which will take place from June 29 to July 3. Former board members will share tall tales to bring the history of the city and the union to life (or keep it alive). The tour will be offered in two different versions: Piet-Hein in Dutch and Leon in English. The tour will also include a mini pub crawl, with two to three short stops at relevant cafés—each including at least one free drink in the price—and an after-party at Café de Wolthoorn. The event is open to members and alumni.
